Section 2 - Fundamentals
In billiards, as in any other sport, the ability to do the spectacular comes only after one has practiced and mastered the basic fundamentals of the game.
What separates the good from the great is often more a matter of the time one has devoted to mastering the basics, than due to major differences in athletic ability.

Section 3 - Analyzing your stroke
In the larger schemes of things, most players never take the time to analyze their stroke for certain critical and logical ingredients.
Of these ingredients, the single most obvious reason that most players never analyze them is that they never shoot at anything except an object ball.

Section 4 - Aiming
I have a problem. When something is wrong, I try to fix it. When nothing is wrong, I try to fix it. When I'm not sure anything is wrong, I get anxious. When I get anxious, everything goes wrong, and I try to fix it!
Of course, there is nothing wrong with fixing things, if the right things are being fixed. I often find myself trying all kinds of tricks to improve my aim in pool, when it isn't my aim
